Brett Eldredge's new single "Somethin' I'm Good At" is a flat out, all-caps, country music JAM. The lead single from his third studio album fits the singer like a tailored suit.

"Somethin' I'm Good At" is a love song that finds Eldredge telling his girlfriend that while he may not be able to cook, dance, change a tire or do much else properly, he sure can love on her. The sweet sentiment is somewhat lost the first time through the song. One is willingly distracted by the contagious vibe of this driving country-rock song and the pacing of the singer's vocals, especially at the bridge.

Subtly, Eldredge is again owning the title of country music's next great crooner during "Somethin' I'm Good At.". He does it in a very progressive way, but the at-times spoken-word nature of his vocals recalls the music from Glow, which of course was inspired by the likes of Frank Sinatra. His vocals are produced in a way that make all other instruments mere afterthoughts — few in the genre could or should be mixed in this way but with Eldredge we follow. He's simply captivating.

Did You Know?: Eldredge tells the Tennesseean that "Somethin' I'm Good At" is a 100 percent reflection of his personality.

Brett Eldredge, "Somethin' I'm Good At" Lyrics:

I'm a real bad liar, I'm a burnt toast kinda guy-er / If I try to build a fire I'll burn the woods / I ain't a mover or a shaker, can't keep up with the pacer / Never met a dancefloor that ever did me any good.

Chorus:
I can’t change the world, no I can’t change a flat / If you give me your heart, girl, well, you may never get it back / You said you’d never smile again, but oh no, here it comes / Would you look at that / I finally found somethin’ I’m good at.

I got a poor sense of direction, Sometimes too strong of affection for a whiskey made in Lynchburg, Tennessee / If there's a whole a boat son, you bet that's all she wrote / I'm a titanic sinking down into that deep blue sea.
