Breast Cancer Cookoff

The 12th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Chili and BBQ Cookoff is this Saturday at the American Legion Woods Lynch Post 19, 501 Veterans Airpark Road in Midland. It's one of the biggest cookoffs in West Texas, and everyone is invited to come out and cook, judge, or just stop by and donate to a great cause!
 Here's all the details:
CASI sanctioned Chili, CASI rules apply.2:00 PM turn in; Showmanship 2:00 TO 4:00 PM; Lone Star sanctioned BBQ; half jointed Chicken turn in at noon, Spareribs (no babyback) turn in at 1:00pm; Beef Brisket turn in at 3:00 PM. 50-50 Drawing; Raffle items; Specialty raffle and silent auction. Plenty of room for motorhomes,trailers, and pits. All dry camping-no hookups. Set up can begin Thursday, October 11th after 2:00pm.
