San Angelo's law enforcement showed how efficient and well trained they are this Wednesday, March 25th, when an emergency arose.

At 11:25 a.m., Glenn Middle School in San Angelo, went into modified lockdown when a bomb was reported in one of the school;s restrooms. The San Angelo Police Department and the Fire Marshall responded within minutes of the call. All restrooms were searched, and no explosives were found on the premises.

The Glenn Middle School principal, Karen Clark, said that at noon the lockdown was lifted, and the school's regular school schedule resumed.

Principal Clark also noted that the students and staff are well trained in a variety of safety drills, and everyone responded quickly, and appropriately, to all instructions. She is proud of their behavior and appreciative of local law enforcement agencies.

The threat will be fully investigated by local law enforcement agencies.
