Before we check our listeners, who are celebrating on July 6th, here's what makes this a special day for everyone.

It's National Fried Chicken Day!

I know, we're all told that fried foods are not good for us, but heck, this is Texas, and we love anything that's fried.  We don't care.  Plus, its Sunday; that and fried chicken just seem to go together.

Fried chicken is and always has been one of America's favorite foods.  There's only one thing you need to do to celebrate this day: devour some fried chicken.  Enjoy it for lunch, dinner or perhaps cold leftovers as a snack. Maybe you can do all three today.

Remember, fried chicken tastes ohhhhh so good.  So, don't resist the urge to eat it on this special occasion.
