Congratulations to everyone celebrating today.  60 years ago tonight, Elvis Presley made his one and only appearance on the Grand Ole Opry.  He sang, "Blue Moon Of Kentucky" at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium.  The story goes that the manager of the Opry, Jim Denny, told Elvis not to give up his day job.  Evidently, the man was not impressed with "The King's" performance.   It's National Custodial Workers Recognition Day!

This day is set aside to show our appreciation for custodial workers across this great nation.

These are the people that work behind the scenes.  Often they are under-appreciated for all the hard work they do day after day to keep our schools, office buildings, churches, hospitals, museums and many other facilities clean and well maintained.

These workers are most definitely, an important part of the success of many businesses.  Remember, a clean, well maintained and operational building is a reflection on the business itself.

Thank you one and all, for a job well done!
