Congratulations, if this is your birthday.  You are celebrating along with country singer, Billy Currington.  Born in 1973, in Savannah, Georgia, Billy's debut hit, "Walk A Little Straighter", came in 2003.  Since then, he's applied that easy -going vocal style to a string of hits, like "That's How Country Boys Roll", and "People Are Crazy".  Happy 41st, Billy.   It's National Play Monopoly Day!!

Monopoly is one of the most popular board games the the world.  The story goes, that it was originally based on a board game that was designed by, Elizabeth Magie in 1902.  Her game "The Landlord's Game", was self published in 1906.  Parker Brothers, an American toy and game manufacturer, around since 1883, bought the rights to Monopoly and first published it in 1935.  Parker Brothers subtitled the game, "The Fast-Dealing Property Trading Game".

With winter weather upon us, Monopoly is a great in-door game for the whole family to play.  It can keep everyone entertained for hours upon end.  So, this might be a good day to brush up on your Monopoly skills.

Now Let's P-A-R-T-Y!!
