Birthdays For March 30th + Doctor’s Day

If you are celebrating a birthday today, congratulations!  Two country artists are also turning a year older with you. Justin Moore, born in Poyen, Arkansas, in 1984. His 2009 hit "Small Town USA" introduces a musical persona built on hard country and brash Southern rock. Subsequent hits include "Point At You", "Bait A Hook" and "If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away". Happy 31st, Justin! Thomas Rhett Akins Jr. born at the Valdosta Medical Center in Georgia, in 1990. The son of singer/songwriter Rhett Akins, he earns hits with his singles "It Goes Like This" and "Get Me Some Of That." He also co-writes Jason Aldean's "1994" and Florida Georgia Line's "Round Here". Happy 25th, Thomas!

This Is National Doctor's Day!!

The first Doctor's Day was celebrated on March 30th, 1933. This date marked the anniversary of the first use of general anesthesia in surgery. The first National Doctor's Day was celebrated on this date in 1991.

When you are well, your doctor helps keep you well. When you are sick there is no other person more important than your doctor.

So, here's a BIG Salute to all doctors today!
