Also appearing: Clint Black, Kellie Pickler, The Grascals and unannounced walk-on Lee Greenwood, who does "God Bless The U.S.A.".

Politicians tend to waffle on issues and decisions but for the rest of us this is the day to eat waffles.

Waffles date back to the 1300s, when Greeks cooked flat cakes between two metal pans. They topped them with cheese and herbs because pancake syrup wasn't available in those days.
