Birthdays For January 8th + Bubble Bath Day

If you are celebrating your birthday today, congratulations.  You share this date with "The King", who would have turned 80 today.  Elvis Presley was born at home in East Tupelo, Mississippi, in 1935.  Before emerging as the "King of Rock & Roll," Presley makes inroads in country, where he returns during his latter years. He is inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1998.  Also on this date in 1993, Elvis receives a tribute with a 29-cent U.S. postage stamp, his '50s-era likeness selected in a poll of citizens. Some consumers purposely mailed  letters to fake addresses so they can get their mail back, stamped with "Return To Sender".  

It's National Bubble Bath Day!!

This is a day that can be enjoyed by all ages.  For kids, it's playtime and for adults it's the soothing pleasure, and maybe even playtime as well!  We certainly hope so!

Ladies, it's time to relax,  Set the mood with lighted candles placed safely around the room and tub.  Add some soft music.  Fill the tub with bubbly water and hop in and enjoy!
