Birthdays For December 24th + Eggnog Day

If you are celebrating on this Christmas Eve, congratulations.  On this date in country music: 1964 - Glen Campbell plays his first concert with The Beach Boys at Sam Houston Coliseum, in Houston.  He fills in at the last minute for an ill Brian Wilson, and continues to tour with them for around the next four months.   

It's National Eggnog Day! 

This special day is celebrated once a year on the day before Christmas.  It's a very popular drink all over the nation during the holidays.

This sweetened dairy-based treat is usually made with milk and or cream, sugar, whipped eggs and spices.  At parties and get-together's lots of folks like to add liquor to their eggnog.  It's usually brandy, rum, bourbon, whiskey, vodka or a mixture of liquors.  Just fill the glass and garnish with sprinkled cinnamon, nutmeg or pumpkin spice.

True, it's loaded with things that are not good for you, but, boy is it DELICIOUS!!

Why not spice up your Christmas Eve, with a tall glass of Eggnog!
