Birthdays & Anniversaries for Thursday

1946 - singer, Johnny Lee is born in Texas City, Texas.  Johnny turns 68 today.  His million-selling hit, "Lookin' For Love", was featured in the 1980 film, "Urban Cowboy".

1958 - singer, Aaron Tippin is born in Pensacola, Florida.  Aaron is 56 today.  His hits in the 1990s included "You've Got To Stand For Something" and "There ain't Nothing Wrong With The Radio.

1980 - The movie, "Honeysuckle Rose", has its world premiere in Austin.  It stars, Willie Nelson, who introduces his song, "On The Road Again".

1993 - Garth Brooks, has the #1 song on the Billboard country chart with "That Summer".

2001 - Trisha Yearwood gets her 1st quadruple-platinum album, for "(Songbook) A Collection Of Hits".
