1965- Eileen Edwards, better know as, Shania Twain, is born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.  She would win the Country Music Association's Entertainer of the Year award, in 1999

1968- At the Columbia Recording Studio, in Nashville, Tammy Wynette records, a song she wrote, "Stand By Your Man"

1981- Jake Owen is born in Winter Haven, Florida

1982- LeAnn Rimes is born in Jackson, Mississippi

1982- George Strait achieves his first #1 single with, "Fool Hearted Memory"

1989- Cassadee Pope is born in West Palm Beach, Florida.  She wins the third season of NBC's "The Voice", and receives a record deal with Republic Nashville for her debut album in 2013

1993- The Tracy Lawrence hit, "Can't Break It To My Heart", is #1 in Billboard
