It's Mutt's Day!

Yes, today all mutts get their well deserved day in the spotlight and if you own a mutt, it can be a special day for you as well.

The definition of a mutt, is a dog that is of mixed breed.  I happen to own one of these.  Mine is named, Radio.  He's part Blue Healer and part bird dog.  He weighs in at 75 pounds and is spoiled rotten.  I really believe, he could care less that he's not a pure breed.  He's just happy being a dog, and to me he's worth a million bucks!

Some purebred owners may look down on them and view mutts as lesser in many ways.  However, we, as mutt owners, enjoy their diversity and uniqueness and you can't put a price tag on that.

As an owner of a mutt, try to spend this day doing all the things you and your dog like to do.  Both of you, should be proud and hold your chins up high as you celebrate Mutt's Day!
