This is the day that girlfriends, not only here in the Concho Valley, but all around the nation, should get together to celebrate the special bond that women share through friendship.

Girlfriends can be, daughters, mothers, sisters, cousins, high school, college or life long friends.  They are the friends that are always there for you.  They are the friends you want to spend time with, share secrets with, cry with, shop with or just share a glass of wine with.

This is the day to let them know how much they mean to you and how special it is to have them in your life.

Remember, as you celebrate this National Girlfriends Day, that friendship is one of the most special connections in life.
