Before we get to our listeners celebrating on this Independence Day, July 4th, a reminder of another reason to celebrate today!

It's National Country Music Day.  Of course, we're happy to share this music everyday on 975 KGKL, with you, the listener and consider it to be "our " music.

Our music has long been a popular music style in America for many decades.  It's not only music but it represents a lifestyle.  Other forms of music may come and go but Country music stands the test of time.

They say the "epicenter of country music" is the Grand 'Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee, but we're sure proud to be spreading it around West Texas and here in the Concho Valley.

In celebration, why not spend the day listening to your favorite country music with us.
