The piano-pumping singer, nicknamed "the Killer," gains early fame for his late-1950s, genre-busting recordings, but shifts into a country-centric career the following decade. Happy 80th, Jerry Lee!

This Is Confucius Day!

Today. we honor one of the world's greatest philosophers.

Born in China on October 18, 551 B.C., Confucius is one of the earliest, and perhaps the the first great philosopher. He was also a teacher, a scholar, and a politician. He gave the world many teachings, and gave the world 499 famous sayings.  Here's one example, "Man who leaps off cliff, jumps to conclusion".
