If you are turning a year older today, congratulations.  You are not by yourself.  Two country stars are celebrating right along with you.  Dierks Bentley, was born in 1974, in Phoenix, Arizona.  His musical mixture of traditional country, bluegrass and alt-rock has lead him to membership in the Grand Ole Opry and the Country Music Association's Horizon Award. Today, Dierks is 40!  Also it's another candle on the cake for Josh Turner, today.  Josh was born in 1977, in Hannah, South Carolina.  He's built up a list of several deep-voiced and traditional sounding hits including, "Long Black Train", "Firecracker", and "Why Don't We Just Dance".  Happy 37th, Josh!   It's The Great American Smokeout Day!!

This day is held each year on the 3rd Thursday in November, and is sponsored by the American Cancer Society.

It's an annual social engineering event to get Americans to stop tobacco smoking.  It's designed to encourage all smokers to stop for 24 hours, in hopes that decision will continue on forever.

Hopefully, if you are a smoker, you will join millions of other smokers today, and participate in the Great American Smokeout!!

Now Let's P-A-R-T-Y!!
