If this is your birthday, congratulations! You share the same date as this country music artist. Randy Traywick is born at Memorial Hospital in Monroe, North Carolina, in 1959. He becomes famous under his stage name, Randy Travis. His rich baritone is a signature sound in the New Traditionalist movement of the late-1980s. Among his hits: "On The Other Hand" and "Forever And Ever, Amen" Also on this date in 1987, Warner Bros. releases Randy Travis' second album, "Always And Forever".  Happy 56th, Randy!

This Is Star Wars Day!!

This day came about as a play on words.  In 2005, a German News TV channel N24 interview erroneously translated the famous Star Wars quote,"May the force be with you". In German, it  was incorrectly interpreted as "We are with you on May 4th". We really do believe, that if this error had not occurred, someone, somewhere would probably have created this day anyway. It's a day for all Star Wars fans to rejoice!
