She joins older siblings Maxine and Jim Ed in forming The Browns, whose million-selling crossover hit "The Three Bells" precedes their 1963 induction into the Grand Ole Opry. Happy 78th, Bonnie! Also a year older today, Chad Brock, born in Ocala, Florida, in 1963. He has fewer than 20 matches as a professional wrestler before embarking on a singing career in the 1990s. His most successful single comes with an autobiographical love song, "Yes!" Happy 52nd, Chad!

This Is Mutt's Day!

Why not a Mutt's Day? They deserve their day in the spotlight, as much as a pure breed.

I happen to own a Mutt. His name is, Radio. He's part Blue Healer and, we think, part German Short Haired Pointer. He provides my wife and I with lot's of love and get's more than his share of love in return from both of us.  True, he may be a Mutt, but he's our Mutt and we love him dearly.
