Representatives of more than 30 school districts and education employers in Texas and New Mexico will meet with prospective teachers during Angelo State University’s annual Teacher Job Fair this Wednesday in the Junell Center/Stephens Arena, 2235 S. Jackson St.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to noon in the Junell auxiliary gym, and is open to ASU students who will graduate in May with teacher certification, as well as any current certified teachers seeking employment or considering relocation.

Scheduled to attend are representatives from school districts in San Angelo, Amarillo, Ballinger, Big Spring, Brownfield, Colorado City, Crockett County, Ector County, Edgewood, Fort Stockton, Grape Creek, Hereford, Hobbs, N.M., Houston (Alief), Killeen, Lamesa, Lubbock, Luling, McCamey, Midland, San Antonio, Richardson, Saginaw (Eagle Mountain), San Saba, Schleicher County, Seminole, Snyder, Taylor and White Settlement.

 

ASU’s teacher education graduate studies programs, the Region 9 and Region 20 Education Service Centers, Texas Job Network, Texas School for the Blind and Texas Teacher – Alternative Certification will also have representatives at the job fair.
