The Angelo State University Small Business Development Center (ASU-SBDC) is excited to host the training event “Do I Have to Collect Sales Tax?: Sales Tax Basics” this Thursday, January 29th at 6:00pm at no-cost.Topics covered will include completing tax returns, what is or isn’t taxable, your responsibilities as a taxpayer, Comptroller services and publications. There will be a question and answer session. This seminar will help the taxpayer gain the knowledge to collect and accurately report the state sales tax and to maintain required records.
