Open Road Films, which is best known for their cool action films, continues their awesome streak of sorts with the help of filmmaker David Ayer. The ‘End Of Watch’ director is already gearing up to make his next movie, and guess who’s going to be the star of it all. That’s right, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Deadline reports that Open Road Films just got their hands on the rights to ‘Ten,’ a new action thriller that will be directed by David Ayer and star Arnold Schwarzenegger. There’s no word on when filming will begin.

The story, written by Skip Woods (‘The A-Team’), centers on an elite DEA task force dealing with dangerous drug cartels that executes a tactical raid on a cartel safe house. It turns out to be a ruse where the DEA squad end up stealing all of the loot. Everything is fine for the squad, until each one of them begins getting picked off.

This isn’t the only action film that Arnold Schwarzenegger and Open Road Films are doing. For Open Road, they’re gearing up to release ‘End of Watch,’ the ‘Red Dawn’ remake and recently distributed ‘Lockout.’ Schwarzenegger will appear in ‘The Expendables 2,’ due out in theaters on August 17, 2012.
