Angelo State University’s Master of Science in Nursing degrees have been ranked as one of the “2015 Best Online Masters of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) Programs” in the U.S. by CollegeChoice.net, an educational resource website. One of eight Texas schools to make CollegeChoice.net’s inaugural list, ASU’s program ranked 39th overall. According to an official statement, “The list was compiled based upon a variety of important factors, including faculty, technology, student support, accreditation and cost. Special attention was paid to the academic strength of the schools, along with their ability to both retain and graduate their students.”

“We are so pleased for this recognition,” said Dr. Leslie Mayrand, dean of the ASU College of Health and Human Services. “We pride ourselves in being one of the pioneers in online graduate nursing education and are privileged to serve nurses wanting to advance their education to improve the health of our citizens, as well as educating our future nurses.”

The other Texas schools on the list are Lamar University, the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, West Texas A&M University, Texas Christian University, the University of Texas at Tyler, Texas A&M Corpus Christi and the University of Texas at Brownsville.
