Angelo State University’s Department of Agriculture will host an agriculture advocacy event this Wednesday, May 6, outside the Vincent Nursing-Physical Science Building at 2333 Vanderventer St. on the ASU campus.

Titled “Angelo AGvocates,” the event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open free to the public. The various activities are designed to both promote agriculture and inform the community about the agriculture industry. Booths and displays will be set up to address topics ranging from “What is Agriculture?” to “Current Events in the Agriculture Industry.”

Agriculture Department faculty and students will also be present to answer questions, and there will be free hot dogs, t-shirts and koozies for attendees.
