The Angelo State University Alumni Association will host its final Ram Jam pre-football game tailgate party of the season on Saturday, Nov. 12, at the LeGrand Alumni and Visitors Center, 1620 University Ave. It is also part of ASU’s annual Military Appreciation Day.

Ram Jam will run from 3:30-5:30 p.m. and is open free to the public, with a special invitation to all local and area active-duty military, retirees and their families. Activities will include a live music performance by Manny Campos and the Blue and Gold Boys, a GoGamez video game trailer, and appearances by the ASU Ram Band, cheerleaders and mascots. Free food and beverages will be available, as well as Iggy’s Italian Ice and patriotic tattoos.

Tailgating spots are also still available in the LeGrand Center parking lot. They are free and can be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis by contacting the ASU Alumni Association at 325-942-2122.

At 5:30 p.m., the Ram Band and cheerleaders will lead fans across the street to LeGrand Stadium at 1st Community Credit Union Field for the Rams football game against UT-Permian Basin that kicks off at 6 p.m. Active-duty military, retirees and their families will be granted free admission to the football game. Pregame activities at the stadium will include a flyover by six aircraft from the High Sky Wing of the Commemorative Air Force out of Midland.
