An Inspirational Exhibit Headed to San Angelo

A traveling exhibit honoring the 343 FDNY firefighters who died on September 11, 2001 is coming to the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts.

Better Angels:  The Firefighters of 9/11, features individual monochromatic oil portraits of the fallen firefighters on 6'' X 4'' charred blocks of wood.  Their name and company is written below.

The exhibit is hosted by the Military Firefighters Heritage Foundation and is sponsored by the National Fallen Fighters Foundation and Colorado artist Dawn Siebel.

The exhibit has already traveled to San Diego, California, Washington DC, Ocean City and Baltimore, Maryland, as well as Atlanta, Georgia.

Your opportunity to view it at the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts, One Love Street will be May 2-4, from 10 am to 4 pm, and May 5, from 10am to Noon.
