Albertsons Market Honors San Angelo Team Member
Albertsons Market recently honored Norma Flores of San Angelo as the company’s Abilene Region Team Member of the Year at the company’s 10th annual Leadership Awards dinner. Flores has more than 20 years of grocery experience and currently serves as service manager at the Albertsons Market, 3121 Sunset Drive.
“Norma is a true asset to her store and the community, always going above and beyond in a relentless pursuit of excellence,” said Mark Yowell, regional vice president for The United Family, which operates Albertsons Market in West Texas and New Mexico as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Albertsons. “Her dedication and willingness to help others exemplifies an ideal team member, as well as the company’s philosophy that was established in 1916.”
Flores joined Albertsons in 1993, serving as booth clerk, cashier and bookkeeper, while providing tremendous service to guests and support to her teams. Nicknamed the Coupon Queen, Flores was promoted to service manager in April 2015.
