2nd Annual Grape Creek Community Flea Market

The Grape Creek Education Foundation is hosting it's 2nd Annual Grape Creek Community Flea Market. The flea market with be this Saturday, April 18th, at the Grape Creek Baptist Church. The fun and shopping will begin at 9:00 AM and will conclude at 2:00 PM.

While everyone from the surrounding areas are welcome to come to shop and admission is completely free, the vendor spaces are ony available to Grape Creek and Carlsbad residents. There are a few spaces still available, and you can call Scott Patterson (653-6655) for more information regarding those spaces.

If you do decide to come out to this great event, remember to bring a canned or non-perishable food item for a donation to the local food pantry. These local organizations are doing their best to meet the needs of the community.

The Grape Creek Education Foundation is a great non-profit organization that is determined to help the Grape Creek community when it comes to education. The GCEF purpose is:

The purpose of the Grape Creek Education Foundation is to seek grants, endowments and donations for the enhancement of educational opportunities for persons of all ages in the Grape Creek ISD community. Funds may be dispersed to meet physical and/or professional development needs, extracurricular programs or special project sponsorships. Such funding shall include, but is not limited to, the purchase of equipment, technology, books, curriculum, furniture and facilities.
