On Sunday, December 13, 2015, Meals For The Elderly will hold their 27th Annual Christmas Open House, “An Old English Christmas” at Dr. Jack and Ginger Lewright’s gorgeous home in historic Santa Rita.

It will be a wonderful way to get into the holiday spirit, giving you the chance to enjoy delicious food and live music while touring a historic Santa Rita home.

From 11 am till 3 pm on Sunday the 13th, the home will be on display to guests of the event and the event will also showcase the culinary artistry of talented area chefs.

Reservations are $25 each, or guests are welcome to donate $30 at the door.  Parking is available near the home and shuttles will be running from the parking lot of the River Terrace (located at 800 W. Ave D) during this come-and-go event. All proceeds will help feed the homebound seniors in Tom Green County served by Meals For The Elderly.

Guests will experience the culinary delights of Executive Chef Chad Lowry from Bentwood Country Club, Susan Ball of City Café & Catering, Chef Willie of Senior Care Meadow Creek, Guy & Martine Calluaud of San Angelo Country Club, Chef Terry Nolan of The Wharf, Chef Carlos Estrada of River Terrace, and Chef Roger Owens of Rio Concho Catering.

Live music will entertain guests of the event with Christmas music of all kinds including traditional Christmas favorites and others while guests tour the historic Santa Rita home built in the 1930s.
