Friday, 12th  7:30 p.m. – Synagogue Service – Congregation Beth Israel – 1825 W. Beauregard – 374-8940 with a focus on forgiveness by Ami Mizell-Flint.

Saturday, 13th 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. – Buddhist Insight Meditation Retreat focused on forgiveness – Unity Church of Christianity – 5237 S. Bryant – 651-6830. Conducted by Rev. Janie Kelley.

Tuesday, 16th  6:00 p.m. – 9 p.m.  Documentary and Conversation over Soup Supper – “Forgiving Dr. Mengele” –Angelo State University-CJ Davidson Conference Center: The story of Eva Kor, a Holocaust survivor and her journey of forgiveness. Facilitated by The Gathering, United Church of Christ. Soups prepared by Rashda Khan.

Thursday 18th  6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.  - Stories of Reconciliation – Stephens Central Library – Community Room – 113 W. Beauregard Clifton Truman Daniel, Grandson of Harry S. Truman will discuss his journey of building relationships with the Japanese people since the atomic bombing of Hiroshima/Nagasaki during President Truman’s term.  Dr. Linda L. White will share her journey of reconciliation with the murderer of her daughter, Cathy.

Friday 19th   6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. – Stage Reading and Forgiveness Workshop  – Emmanuel Episcopal Church – Emmanuel Great Room– 3 S. Randolph.  Rais Bhuiyan, one of 3 people and the only survivor, shot by Mark Anthony Storman tell their story of forgiveness in an interview performed by local actors.

Sunday 21st  6:30 p.m. International World Day of Peace:  Burning Bowl Closing Ceremony: - Unity Church of Christianity – 5237 S. Bryant Blvd. – 651-6830.  An opportunity to let go of that which is keeping you bound to your pain and suffering. Facilitated by Rev. Janie Kelley.
