Saturday, June 6th, 2015, Meals For The Elderly will  host the 10th annual Sporting Clay Shoot benefiting the homebound elderly at the San Angelo Claybird Association. The charity is challenging the community’s shooting enthusiasts to out-give last year, helping the local non-profit raise funds to feed more vulnerable, homebound seniors than ever in 2015. Sponsorships, shooter registration, and auction donations are all currently being accepted for the event and all proceeds benefit the over 700 seniors that benefit daily from this charity’s services.

Two 100 target courses are available during the event at 8am or 11am, and. This shoot will still feature an awesome giveaway for all shooters – 1 of every 10 will win their choice of a $750 gift certificate to Field & Streams Sporting Goods or $500 cash. (must be present to win) This year’s live auction features everything from guns to camping equipment and has something for anyone with a heart for the homebound elderly!

Raffle tickets can also be purchased at $10 each (or 5 for $40) for a chance to win a 12 gauge, Beretta A400 Xcel, valued at $1,600 and participants need not be present to win. Chances can be purchased by calling 325-655-9200, visiting MealsForTheElderly.org or in person at 310 E. Houston Harte.

Breakfast and shooter registration starts at 7am Saturday, June 6th, and the first rotation begins at 8am.  Registration costs $165 per shooter (only $150 if you register online by May 15th!) and includes breakfast, lunch, and a rotation of 100 targets. Trophies go to the top two shooters, top female shooter, and top youth shooter.
